Default Problem with rust on cross-drilled rotors?

I have a little problem with rust on my rotors. I just recently purchased a BBK with crossdrilled rotors and I noticed that after I washed my car, the rotors had a lot of rust on them. Now normally the rust goes away by driving and braking as they have been with my stock brakes/rotors, but this doesn't seem to be the case. It seems like the pads don't realy reach inside the holes (obviously) as well as some parts of the rotor. It has been about a week of driving (sometimes hard driving) and the rust has gone absolutely no where. I just wanted to see if other people have this problem or if it's just the consequence of having drilled rotors. Any feedback would be great!

Yup. It's normal. My slotted rotors also have rust in the slots that never completely goes away.

normal, rotors are made of iron

as we know, iron = rust

there is only 1 way to have them not rust (or rust very slowly)... never wash the car

You could always get carbon or ceramic rotors if you don't want rust
