Im gonna be picking up a pair of Nismo Sways either this wknd or next wknd from a friend... did anybody regret getting sway bars? what were your favorite aspects of sways?

also, can you use them with suspension other than oem? (i.e. Tein Coil Overs?)

Sways definitely give you the most noticable improvement to handling for the least cost of all suspension mods. You shouldnt have any issues with most aftermarket coilover systems. Id be surprised if anyone had any regrets doing this mod.

 

The main purpose of sway bars is to reduce body roll which will help alot with turn in. I do not have any such improvement on my G thus far but I have ridden in many different types of cars with upgraded coilovers and sways and I can not think of a single reason to regret your purchase. Oh yeah, they will work with aftermarket suspension.

I have on 05 and put on the Nismo sways. I not sure that it's worth the money unless you plan to track your car. I don't go to the track and the car drove fine right from the get go.
