Default 14" BBK + wheel + rock = sucks

Got a rock stuck BETWEEN the caliper and the wheel... it thoroughly scored and tore up the inside of the wheel for several revolutions before being grinded to oblivion. The damage is only estetic.... will post pictures later.. still sucks.

Advantage of 13" kits I guess...

Wow! I have always been worried of this happening running such a tight clearance.

that's what I thought too... the odds are small... yet people get hit by lightening, get attacked by sharks and win the lottery

Rally cars use plastic "shields" on the edge of the caliper that lean on the inside of the wheel to avoid getting rocks in there...

maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to look at one of those...

I fixed caliper with a black permanent marker... it's barely noticeable, lol. Good thing about black calipers

Fixing wheel is going to be more tricky...

I've kept the same pair of black dress shoes for like 8 years by doing the same thing... lol.

I would've bought new ones, but I've never found any as comfortable.

LoL, good one...

Problem is that these shoes get pretty hot... doubt the marker will stay there for long time...
