Has anyone installed the S-Tune suspension at home?
I did a search and did not see where anyone had attempted installing the S-Tune suspension (Shocks, springs & Stabilizer bars) at home. Meaning has anyone not paid a shop to install? I am thinking about doing the install myself and was wondering if anyone had any problems during the install. I realize that I will need an alignment after the install and will get AutoWay Nissan of Brandon to accomplish that for me but I thought I would save some bucks and do the install myself. It could be fun as well. I appreciate any feedback on this before I try it myself. Thanks.

I did it myself at home.
The Nissan instructions are excellent starting with a list of tools required. The front struts come completely assembled and ready to install.
I did it in less than a day with my son who I had to instruct as we went.
I could have done it in less time by myself. All in all an easy and gratifying experience.

Shoudn't be hard at all. I installed my own springs at home, and it's pretty much the same thing, just using new shocks instead. Use this tutorial as it helped me out a lot with my install. Good luck, and I hope you try it yourself. It'll all be worth it once installed
I appreciate the feedback and I too think that the shocks & springs should not be too hard. I have a friend with the special tools I will need for the rear springs. However, have any of you also replaced the NISMO stabilizer bars at home? I have the NISMO exhasut and I am wondering if I need to take apart the exhaust to get the rear stabilizer bars installed. Also are there any major issues with doing the front stabilizer bar? Thanks again for the feedback.

You don't need a spring compressor on the rears, the instructions call for a floor jack to do the operation of releasing and compressing the spring. As I recall the rear stab bar is the most difficult, it has to thread up and over exhaust etc. I didn't remove it but I think it might be easier with the exhaust out if you were replacing the system anyway. The front bar is a piece of cake.
