can some new holes just be drilled out to make the thing fit if it doesn't fit your particular car?

what cars does it fit? Surely the difference is a range in build dates

you can drill and tap holes yes

there is no rhyme or reason to it...some have the holes already there, some don't. We have already seen '03s that had and '03 that did not, as well as '04's that did and '04's that did not. Don't know anyone with an '05 to check yet

Does anyone know why it wouldnt fit on a G35 coupe? I'm getting a little annoyed with how much body roll my G35 has!

does this do anything and have a real world advantage? I am extremely interested in additional chassis rigidity, but don't want to blow cash on something that will make a barely percievable difference. do they have any solid numbers about what percentage rigidity is increased by, or is this just a tack-on bullsh!t mod for car shows?

I would gladly buy the entire set if it makes an appreciable difference.

There is no way to measure how much more rigid it makes the chassis. The only yardstick is feel

Not its not a BS mod for car shows (you cannot even see it!). I have it on my own car, and I noticed an overall difference in how the car bites in as you turn the wheel quickly, as well as on throttle, mid-turn stability. Keep in mind, the more mods you have to the car chassis wise, the more a mod like this is noticed.

Silverbolt - if you are looking to reduce roll, you need swaybars and different tires

Untrue. Chassis rigidity is a very measurable specification. However, the testing parameters would require a teardown of the car with these attatched, so it is understandable that no one has done it but odd that the company does not make an estimation.

I will probably go after better shocks or tighten up my sways to increase turn-in before I drop cash on something like this.

How thick are the bars, what is the additional toll taken on ground clearance? I am already within a hair of the speedbumps in my apartment complex... :\

I got sways, and the GTspec LTBs too, just wanted to see if I can add this to the list to tighten up my car.

I ordered the entire GT SPEC suspension package. I ordered the front & rear lateral tie arms, the rear lateral brace & the mid chassis brace. Only the mid chassis brace has not been installed (still waiting for the part). I feel the car is more solid in tracking. I will give additional info soon.

syf0n - that is what I meant by saying it is not measurable....for practical purposes, there is no way to tell....the type of equipment needed is not something anything short of an OEM manufacturer/engineering firm will have

This is not meant to be a cure all for all the handling ills of a Z...as I said, it's more of a final step type product. For me, it was a natural to fit, as I literally have every other handling mod (short of a cage) fitted to the car.

I presume the same thing will happen with a G as with a Z. Some cars will have predrilled holes from the factory for the rear mounting bolts, some cars will not, and will require holes to be drilled

Aren't these good for safety as well, i remember putting sub frame braces on a mustang and they help save the car from crushing in when hit hard. I'm thinking about putting it on my roadster just for safety reasons alone, if it helps handling so be it... It also would keep the body from flexing as much which in the long run would keep the car from stressing under hard use... thinking about getting the whole kit actually. This is why they brace our cars and put strut tower braces and rear strut braces in coupes isn't it......?
