Default Brake problem

I installed today my Wilwood BBK, we bleeded all 4 corners proberly 2 times!...problem is.. my car has no initial bite, i beleive this is the term. The brake pedal has about an inch which has very little brake grip, and after that inch or so of pedal travel the car brakes perfectly and better than ever... so i dont think it might be air in the lines.. because we did that 2 times, even thought im gonna try it again.. maybe it could be the new pads/ new rotors? The kit was installed just a few hours ago... hmm i have a track event this weekend, and do not want to race like this..

Did you "bed" the new pads in?

Default brake problem

I'm not being a smart a** when I suggest this, but is it possible you mounted the calipers on the wrong side and the bleeder screw is on the bottom and not on top? I did this once and had the same symptoms that you described and couldn't for the life if me figure what I did wrong until a friend to a look and pointed out my mistake. Just a thought.
