Default brakes sparking?

Hey I think I have a serious probleme with my brake system.Me and a friend of mine were out racing one night, we did a couple of runs and he starts flashing me. I wind down my window and he is like"josh Sparks are flying out of your wheels when you are brakeing!" Im like BS so i go race again and the same thing. but heres the thing its only on the driver side. I have Hawk pads up front.. I wanted to know if this is normal. I looked at the rotor and it seemed fine.

what could this be?

Is it possible that the pad is not properly seated, and you're grinding metal against metal?

I once lost the entire compound area off one of my Brembo pads and was actually scraping metal to metal (the pad and the rotor). Don't know how it happened, but it was totally missing and only fell off of one side. Pull off the wheel and check to see if the pad is still there.

If it was a case of metal on metal, your brakes would be squeeling very loudly. Why don't you get them looked at by a brake pro?
