Default Spring/Coilcover question

Are Coilcovers the same as lowering springs?

Sort of... coilovers come with shock & spring, and usually have height adjustability for you as well.

With a lot of coilovers you can also adjust rebound and damping to really dial in your handling.

Not neccesarily, coilovers can go much lower than springs. That was the main reason I spent $1500 on coilovers for my last car instead of $180 on springs. I wanted to go much lower than the 2 inches spring would let me.
