tein basic coilover or eibach which is easier to install
the title says it all, im a complete newb at this but with so many 'how to' this site has im totally driven to do it myself =D
so the big question is, when installing springs into the stock shocks do i need a spring compressor?
to those who have installed there tein basic damper coilovers was it just pull out the old suspension and put in the new one? thx

the tein basic's...
on the front of the basic's you can put the lower spring locks all the way down so there is no tension on them when you bolt up the upper strut mount... and then put tension on the spring after the upper mount is installed to the damper...
The eibach, you will need to compress the spring a little bit to bolt up the upper mount to the OE shock... its not hard to do, but its one more thing to worry about that you dont have to with the basic's...
the rear are cake either way...
