Somewhere to get 350evo sway bars OTHER than 350evo?
Considering the recent questions about 350evo (mainly... where the hell is everyone?), I'm not about to send them my money. However, I would like a set of their sways in time for the next autox season. Is there anywhere else that sells them? I did a little googling this afternoon and didn't find anything.
I think NISMO was getting their SCCA Touring 2 kit made by 350evo. They cost a bit more than 350evo, but that is mostly because you have to buy the adjustable end links too. Here's a link to a vendor:http://performancenissanparts.com/ca...oducts_id=2097
I think 350evo is a trustworthy company. I've even been to their shop a couple of times and found them great to deal with. I guess I don't know where they are right now, but you may want to give them some time...
P.S. I think your car is fast enough on the autox course as-is. Better not mod anymore :P

I think you are way offf with this thread. I have purchased my whole suspension from 350EVO and BJ has been the perfect supplier. Your issues are related to supply of these parts not the supplier. They build them in lots and you must have been caught in that in-between time. You need to just plan ahead and minor time slips don't become an issue. I am now purchasing their complete rear end swap with 3.9 gear and Nismo LSD. These guys might not be still running 350Z'z but they are still the best place to get those key performance upgrades to build a track car.
I agree with Ray, customer service has been great for me. When ups lost my sway bars and was giving me the runaround, BJ stepped in and made everything right. You also get the knowhow and sound advice of a real race team.
Sorry, I think I came off as saying that 350evo isn't a reputable company. That wasn't at all what I meant; it's just that I'm not going to place an order right now, when it seems like no-one can get in touch with them, you know? I've heard plenty about them helping out their customers, there's no doubt in my mind that they good people to work with.
And mike... you're going to have some stiff competition next season. I just put my borla on the other week, and I'm gonna run kumho V710s, 275/40/R17s. Just trying to catch jose in his C4!

Well, I guess I'll stay safely in STX where I know I can hang! I was considering going to the "dark side" and switching to BSP, but I don't think I wanna put the $$ down to try to compete with you crazy kids - not yet anyway. I'd love to run those tires you're gonna be riding on!!
New 245 tires and springs for next year will be it for me. You're gonna have your work cut out for you trying to catch that 'vette, thats for sure!
If you can wait a bit, the 350evo guys should be back online and you'll be rolling in no time. The sways only take about an hour to hour and a half each (the first time) to get installed. You could go the Nimso route for the same product and get them right away - it would be nice to have those links but is the extra $$ worth it? You decide...
See you in a couple of months!

yeah, I've considered switching around some mods (mainly, going back to stock springs) to get back into B-stock. I really don't see myself catching that corvette, especially with jose at the wheel. Did you know he's a HPDE instructor? Or some sort of track instructor, I don't remember exactly who he's with. But, I don't want to give up my springs, the cornering is great and I think the car is lowered the perfect height. Even if I'm in prepared, it's still my daily driver. Unfortunately, those springs are exactly what put me into BSP, and they happen to be the only suspension mod I have right now. So I've definitely got a lot of room to improve. I added things up for next season, with new wheels, those kumho tires, and the sways, it's gonna be about $1700. -$300 if I decide to go with stock 17s instead of MB motorsports 17x9s. Of course, add the $500 borla and $200 project mu brake pads to that, and I'm almost up to $2500 of upgrades for next season. Man.. this is an expensive hobby!
Of course, it's $2500 well spent in my eyes :-P

What they have is the T2 kit, which was discussed higher up in the thread. $850 could get me 350evo sways and D-specs, so I'm not gonna pay that much for a T2 kit. But just to pass along some info, I got some info from BJ (from 350evo), he says they have one of the bars (front or rear, I can't remember) but have been waiting on a shipment of the other for a month now. So hopefully soon they'll have them back in stock.
