with all the good advice said here what do you guys think is a "good" suspension set up for a daily driven car that will also see some track time? im looking for something that i can tune down for a nice ride on the roads but at the same time be able to stiffin it up for a fun time at the track. i guess im just asking what are you guys running out there as well for your performance deisres? thanks.

I'm in a similar position (about 4 track days and 4 autoX a year, and a daily driver), I got the Hotckis TVS 1 kit b/c it's not too dramatic so that it's still very streetable, yet cornering is great! If you're looking for quick adjustments, you'll probably want coilovers...I haven't had to adjust the sways yet, but it seems like it'll be about an 1/2 to 1 hour process.

For sway bars, I recommend Hotchkis. Light, inexpensive, and adjustable. 3 great aspects of a what I feel is a great product.

Coilovers are a MUCH tougher decision. You really have to first determine what kind of spring rates you can live with. I have the Tein Flex and love them, but they are stiff. HKS, CUSCO, JIC, ZEAL, KW, Tenabe all make good products and they all come in different spring rates.

One thing to keep in mind is how difficult it is to adjust the rear shocks on a Z. Unless you have something like the EDFC, you have to remove the rear shock to adjust it (Or drill some creative holes inside the back of the car to reach a tool into for adjustment.) Right now, I think Tein is the only company with a remote adjustment system, but Cusco and Tenabe are releasing there's any day now.
