Default Hawks Hp Plus. as bad as HPS?

K lots of talk about the HPS's. Ive driven on HP+ on my last car and loved the stopping. Can anyone give me any info or opinions on these pads for the Z. I need to buy pads ASAP. Thanks

so, is it true then? That you can daily drive with the HP+ pads?

everyone acts like unless you're on the track the pads won't heat up enough to stop you.

my impression is that they'll stop you great, but the downside is they'll hurt your rotors more

I don't know why everybody thinks HPS are bad? make sure you re-surface your rotors and break in your pads properly and they work just fine. they lack the initial bite of stock but stock just as well or better with a very linear and solid pedal feel.

+1, I think they suck for daily driving. I'm getting ready to change mine out to something more friendly for the purpose.

Well, I put Track Brembos on my Touring w/ HPS pads and thought there was something wrong with the Brembos as the intial bit and stopping force blew. I put HP+ on now and its like "OK, this is how the Brembos should feel!" Of course the dust is much worse than the HPS pads.

you can,

they would just be squeeky, hard on the rotors until up to tempreture... may not stop to well when cold...

I have used EBC in the past and really have a high opinion of them. Very good quality and excellent performance.

Lot of wheel cleaning in your future... and squealing... but great performance.
