Default So I got my prothane bushings. Couple questions..

the part #s i have are
14-1115
14-1116

im installing these along with stillen sway bars that i have coming in into my g35.

i want to do the install myself, albeit with professional guidance, and had a few questions:

1. they came with grease, which i assume i use as a lubricant between the stillen sway bars im getting and the brushings, correct?

2. they feel like soft rubber? i have no experience with polyurethane.. is this normal? i thought it would be stiffer how is this better than whats in my car now? why wouldnt a G or Z come with this stuff stock?

3. the bushings are cut, which i assume is for me to easily get the swaybars inside them. i feel like a newbie asking this, but i just want to make sure its normal

1. Correct

2. Soft? Well I guess that's up to one's perception. I have a front set off the car since I am now running a Hotchkis bar in the front and I just checked them out because of your comment. Soft is not a word I'd use, they are firmer then oem. Other then that I don't what to tell you.

3.Correct

G35 sedan 6mt
Koni coilover front 448lbs
Koni shock rear 342lbs
Hotchkis front bar set to med
350EVO rear bar set to med
Crawford plen

HF cats
K&N panel
Rogue short shifter
Enkei RPM2

Just put the same combination on my Z the other weekend, you'll like it. I started with a med/med setting but now I'm medium in the front and full stiff in the rear.
