brake kit, not big brake kit
I have non-brembo steup, and want to get new brake but dont want to fork out the money, im wondering if i should try to get sponsored somehow..... or just buy a brake kits with rotors, brakes pads and brake line..... i dont want to spend alot of money on a big brake kit......

that looks like a great kit for the money...how much does this change stopping performance, how long do those pads wear, and how much dust is created?

Why replace the rotors? Brembo rotors are among the best out there. I know people who use them for actual circuit racing. When they (and if they) wear out, replace them.
When you replace the pads, dont use Brembo. There are quite a few good and cheaper ones like axxis, Hawks, Ferodos, etc...I paid for my Ferodos $90 new for the front set; and trust me, they do bite hard. They have to be warmed a bit, but they bite. When you pass 100mph and you step on the brake hard, you will definately gain confidence in them.

The guy who started the thread has the non-brembo setup. People who repalce their brembo rotors go for the BBK. This is either for show or if they have FI..its good to have the extra stopping power

Many thanks. Hope other people benefit from it. It is sure worth it. Gives you confidence in your car to have brakes. What happened was that my passenger window motor malfunctioned. When I went to the backyard electromechanic, he offered to fix it for a $100 with a new motor because a car same as mine crashed and was in the local junker. I was like: hmmm, guess I'll have to check that out. When I arrived I saw this beautiful Track ed. 350z in PPW very dusty in the racks. I tried to keep my calm but started to sweat immediately. It even was the same color as mine. I asked the owner as calmy as I could: Hey, think i may need the window motor for that car (I arrived in my '97 Pathfinder to make it look that I'm as humble as possible). Can we work out a deal. He said: Ahh, gimme 100 bucks and take it. If I buy you the brakes and rims, can you make me a good deal? Sure, lets see, gimme 1600 and well call it a day.
I almost ripped his hand clean off!!! hahhahahaaa...
