I've had them less than a year and they are squeaking down to the shim. I replaced the front only. I got 32k miles on the Z so far. Could the rears need replacing? If the rotors are bad it would be a good excuse to get a BBK. I went to the canyons at least 10 times last year.

 

32k miles and still on the OEM rears?

On a single piston per caliper setup? People toast their rears first on these when tracking...

 

I'd be very happy with a year out of a set of pads with agressive driving like you speak of. I ended my stock rear pads lifes with one track day and less than 5000 street miles.

 

Damn, that track day must have been murder. My stock front pads were dead at 20K miles, rears lasted a while. Id expect 15K out of my Hawk pads with my kind of driving, I dont road race, but do occasionaly high speed slow downs, thats about it....

i totalled my stock fronts in 2,000 miles (YES two thousand)

i think it all depends on how you drive...

 

Yea...very braking and turning intensive road course.
