So, what made you chose the Brembos?

BTW, crossdrilled or slotted?

Spoke with a brembo rep and found competitive pricing.

I am getting crossdrilled. I might go just slotted, as I have a little fear of running crossdrilled, but the rep recommended the crossdrilled for my needs.

Actually, what he was saying in a nice way, was "Their **** is better than ours"

I have no doubt, stoptech and AP are great setups, but I firmly believe Brembos are better.

I was interested in a BBK for my G sedan which is exclusively street driven, admittedly spirited at times. Is there any performance benefit for me with a BBK or is it strictly an aesthetic mod? Thanks for the input.

Brembo actually owns AP racing if I'm not mistaken...

You can't go wront with either Brembo or AP racing.

There are world leaders... and then there is the rest

Unless you are running into overheating problems with your stock brakes because of hard use, then a BBK is purely aesthetic.

Brembo owns AP, but AP operates indepentally from Brembo. I was advised AP is not consistent on which rotors are supplied with their kits and have been known to use lesser quality brands. AP's are great brakes, but I feel brembo supplies a better rotor with their BBK.

The brake feel of a BBK is much better. You'll get a stiffer pedal with better response.

We can give you a great deal on a StopTech BBK. FYI, StopTech calipers are now FORGED as well.

Just checked their product listing and they have a new ST-60 six piston setup for front.
Hmmm, i have the ST-40 upfront, is there a way i can upgrade to the six piston front and still have use for the ST-40's I have?

If you have our 355mm brake kit you can order the 6 piston upgrade kit with new brackets and calipers. The 6 piston calipers are not compatible with our 332mm brake kits.

The kit is on order, I went with the Brembos; 14" slotted rotors with black calipers. Might have them early to mid week next week.
