I take it you haven't purchased your springs, and are trying to decide whether you want to fork over $500+ for a front camber kit before taking the plunge.

Well, from my experience, I did not need any camber adjustment when lowering 3/4". The front end camber isn't sensitive to ride height w/stock suspension components. I can jack up my front end, and my camber doesn't change. The rear end is another story, but you already know that.

yes anything more than 1" and you will have issues with the front. I was at 1.25" drop in the front and my camber/caster was bad enough to eat through a set of new tires in less than 8K miles. If you are going to drop more than 1" do it right and get the front and rear camber arms and the rear toe arms or spc bolts.

USN, Did you get an alignment after dropping it? I'm curious as to what camber you got as a result of dropping it. My toe settings went to hell when I lowered my car, but camber didn't change much at all.

I tried to get an alignment afterwards, but since the car comes with **** for adjustability they couldnt do much. my toe and camber were way off. I did the rear camber and toe arms and got back in spec, but didnt do the fronts thinking I would get around to it and few thousand miles later when I was at the steel belts I got around to the front A arms LOL.

This was almost 2 years ago, I do not remember the camber/toe measurements anymore though. Sorry

so anything over 1inch in front will cause premature tire wear without camber kit... but how about the rear? what's the lowest you can go in the rear without having to get camber kit? I ordered a set of tein basics and i was wondering if i can drop the rear all the way because the max drop is only 1.1 inch.
