Question Tein Height Adjustment Questions...

Hi guys,

need your help here.... I finally got to this table and it shows that Tein has super street suspensions for our Z33... and I am just wondering to know.... what are those "Recommended Ride Height Adjustment Range" compare to??? The stock height???

http://www.tein.co.jp/ssdamp2ne.html

For Z33, the values are:

Ft:-25 to +14mm
Rr:-25 to +7mm

Does it mean that the total ride height they recommend for the FRONT is 25mm below the stock ride height and 14mm ABOVE the stock ride height? Or does it compare to the drop of -10mm Ride Height Drop column?

Thanks heaps in advance!!! I am soooo confused now!

cheers,

richie

Oh that's really interesting, they've changed the spring rate specs on those (JDM SS Z33 coilovers). They used be 7Kg linear front and 5.6Kg/7Kg rear progressive. Now they are 5Kg/7Kg And in what is a first that I've ever seen, the G35 version's use stiffer front spring rates. (7kg/7Kg)

But to answer your question about ride height, you do have it right.

dirtroad,

I thought Tein flex allows you to adjust even higher since the shocker itselt as well as the spring part (if you preload the springs), you can go even like a 4wd style?! am I right here?!

thanks heaps!
