I think you can set them to the stock ride level if you want

Yeah, stock height looks do-able.

The rears can be raised alot and my fronts are about half way on the sleeve on mine and not lowered too much.

I had a conversation with HKS about the RS and ride height's last year. They claimed that you can use them to set the car up to oem Z ride height. Though I personally would NOT want that much spring preload to get it, which is the down side of the RS not having seperate preload and ride height adjustablity.

There is some pre-load adjustment in the fronts, it's not advertised, but it's there. The spring perch is actually threaded and can be raised or lowered a small amount, but it's not a big deal if your lowering the car because the struts area already shortned about a inch.

I wouldnt think it would be a big deal running stock ride height, since it's really not a whole lot maybe .5-.75 of an inch? Stock ride height is still pretty low compared to most cars.

Minimum preload = lowest possible ride height setting.
Max preload = Highest possilbe ride height setting.

The ideal spring preload setting is the minimum level required to keep the spring in place when the suspension is unladen. Dialing in more and more to raise the car is not a free lunch and can cause negitive things to happen dynamically that can and will effect the car's handling and ride&drive quality depending on how much is dialed in, remembering that IDEAL is the lowest possible amount. I checked the HKS site in Japan where min and max drops are published. you cannot adjust them to get to oem ride height, though it is a nice mild drop.

Front: -.7” to -1.7”
Rear: -.6” to -2.1”

this is typical on most Z coilovers by the way....most, by default at their highest setting, are around .6-.7 inches lower than stock
