Default Hotchkis sway bar improvements

I just got a set of Hotchkis sways, pull them out of the box- and what do I see? The front bar now has locating collars on it (no need to buy parts from McMaster) and it's 4-way adjustable instead of 3-way. Good stuff.

Mine just came in yesterday, but I haven't looked at them yet.

I already bought the collars from McMaster, oh well.

Wow, 4 way adjustable! Now we have to figure out what setting to set them at.

I sent you PM with my email address. The rear bar still doesn't have the collars?

I was looking at these at the Motrosports show, the collar is a big improvement and they told the extra hole is for the new heavier G35.

The 4th adjustment is for the G35C only, you dont need it for a 350z, the stock G35C sway bar is much heavier than the stock Z bar, my friends car and mine were tested for these bars. My old bars rubbed on the back because it didnt have collars so now the new sets have collars on the front and rear bars. Basically you dont need the last adjusment unless you have a G35 C.

Where did you order them from? Got any pics? The only thing the made me wanna shy away from the Hotchkis sways is that they didn't have the collars. If this has surely changed... I'm on it!

This is what my research has discovered, see if it jives what what you were told or lead to believe.

These bar's are equal in weight and outside diameter and are all the same part.
03/04 oem 350Z
03/06 oem G35 coupe WITHOUT the sport suspension (cars on 17 or 18" wheels)
03/04 G35 sedan's.

These car's have a stiffer front oem bar as revealed by it's heavier weight, but unchanged outside diameter, all are the same part out of the factory

04.5+ 350Z
05/06 G35 coupe with sport suspension (delivered on oem 19's)
05/05 G35 sedan

Looks like for a 350Z. I just got mine in a couple of days ago & that's what they look like. Only the front bars have the 4 holes on each side, not the rears.

In this picture it looks like there is a gap between the collar and sway bar. Can someone confirm if it's tightly on there.
