Default Hotchkis kit installed...problem?

Tuesday i had a local shop install the tvs kit on my Z. Now i know it takes about a week for everything to settle, but everytime i tap my brakes at low speeds, i hear a clanking sound. It almost sounds like the calipers are hitting the springs. I first heard it in the front left, but now i hear it more in the rear. Is this just part of the settling or does it sound like the installer did something wrong?

Bring it back & have them recheck their install. I have the same kit & when it was first installed, I never had that sound.

Any noise would be related to the install. The installing shop needs to systematically recheck all the bolts they undid. One question however, when you left the shop did they hand you any parts other then the oem springs saying, "here, we didn't need these"?

No they did not. However, this morning i went back to the shop that did the install. They were about to close, because of the holiday weekend. But after i told the guy that actually did the work, what was going on, he instantly pulled my car into his bay and started looking it over. He traced everything he did and finally found the problem. It's hard to explain what it was without using my hands, but the bottom line is that it got fixed. It was and honest oversight, but he stayed two hours over shop hours to find and fix the problem. So he still get a nod of approval in my book.
