Any STB can be made to clear a tall plenum with proper spacers but the hood clearance is what's the problem. Most tall plenums (i.e. Crawford, APS, etc...) are already spec'd to be as tall as possible without hitting the hood. With that said, I'm pretty sure this STB will hit the hood even though you'll get it to fit over the tall plenum. The only STB's that I know of that works with these tall plenums are the Crawford, Stillen, & APS since they relocate the bar. The only way you'll be able to fit that style STB is to either (1) Use a plenum spacer instead which will allow you to raise the plenum as well but to a moderate height that will not force your STB to be raised too high so it hits the hood (2) Raise your hood with spacers which is functional but IMO visually looks a bit strange since it will make your hood appear to be off allignment towards the hindges or (3) A custom hood of some sort which will allow more space.
