Default Ebc Problem??

i have installed these pads on my 350z, and they squeal and whistle a bit with brake pedal released.. as soon as i tap the brake gently they stop... and start whistling again a few seconds later, i suspected the Shim to have come lose from the back of the pad, and to my surprise they didnt lift but slid over to one end of the pad.. i was wondering has anyone had this problem?.. are we not supposed to put the OEM shims on those pads? one of the boxes that i have for the rear pads (cant find front pad box.. front is where i have the problem) says "integrated Shim" on it.. but uhh.. i didnt really see one on it.. just wondering if anyone else has had this problem

i'd appreciate any input on this. thanks guys.. i've always gotten kick *** advice/tips here, thought id try again in hopes for the same

If your pads didn't come with shims, then you need to remove the stock ones and use them. At least that's what I did with the Endless pads that I bought.

i didnt think it was necessary to re-use(assuming they are in decent condition) shims but i did it anyway with my HP+ setup.
