FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Huntington Beach, CA. July 6, 2006.
Endless USA is proud to announce the addition of the brand new brake pad compound CC-Rg (“g” is for Gravity) to the existing lineup.
The newest addition to the ceramic carbon series, CC-Rg is the ultimate dual purpose pad. Ideal for driving on both the street and the track, the CC-Rg provides the best of BOTH worlds. The operating temperature starts at 100°F and doesn’t reach its limits until an amazing 1500°F, unheard of for a street pad.
The CC-Rg achieves these temperatures while still maintaining a very thin coefficient of friction range of 0.4 ~ 0.45. Normally brake pads with very high operating temperatures are abrasive to rotor surfaces, but the CC-Rg is rotor friendly because it can operate as low as 100°F. The newest and most exciting breed of ceramic carbon series pad has arrived.
Note About Coefficient of Friction
Coefficient of friction is a numerical representation of the amount of friction force a brake pad exerts. The coefficient of friction ratings are given as a range that the pad exhibits. The higher the number, the higher the force exerted. These numbers also equate to what is known as “initial bite.” The smaller the range is for the coefficient of friction the more consistent, stable and safe the brake pad is.
