This past Saturday I participated in a Performance Driving Clinic at ButtonWillow. Long story short, the clinic was great, lots of track time, if I remember right, we ran six - 15 to 20 minute sessions. Clinic also included good lectures, great instructors and a mighty tasty lunch.
Well, I know this is not a great track set-up but, I ran the stock non-Brembo brakes with EBC GreenStuff pads. I tried to brake late in the corners but they would just fade bad after a while so I braked earlier to avoid flying off the track, I honestly think that braking earlier made me drive smoother. The pads made it through the day and got me home but check out the pictures. Some of the paint bubbled a little bit and changed color, they were fairly new before the clinic, now they are almost gone but, they worked and still don't squeak.
Here's a link to some pictures of how they looked new: http://www.gridesinc.com/Showroom.html#ebc
I would NOT recommend this set up to anyone who wanted to go to the track and run hard, it really got a little scary a couple of times till I figured it out. A more serious brake upgrade would have been very welcome at the clinic but I still had fun and recommend the clinic.

I was going to put some Red Stuff on too, then thought, I need to save some cash right now and decided just to run the GreenStuff. Hey, I tried to save some Green only to lose some other Green hehe.
