if you go over 1" then you SHOULD get a camber kit. if you don't then don't b!tch about the tire wear when you're going through a new set of tires every 6 months. tanabe's are about $170 new, $120 used.

Hm, i see. Ok, the person above said that tanabe's are 1". Camber or no? And if so, how much is it and can we install it ourselves (like the springs)?

i dont really think you would need it..and also about camber kits n all this other stuff you would find all this info faster by searching rather than asking and waitinf for replies.

I'm not sure this is the cheapest way to lower your Z but buffet lines work best. Keeping a full tank of gas all the time would have been a good way to lower your Z but nowadays, it's not the cheapest way either.

Remove the wheels, doesn't get lower than that. Takes a jack and 10 min of your time, 0$.

Now seriously, I wouldn't go with more than 0.8" lowering. So you can get your alignment done within specs without a (expensive) camber kit.
Tein S/Hotchkis/ RSR are some good options. For opinions on them, better search for some topics.

CHEAPEST way is to go to muffler shop

have them take torch to springs

they hold it there for a while

watch springs start to slowly sag and lower

you tell them when to stop

im not even kidding either

couple of my friends do that

keep in mind I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS

but you asked for cheapest

just save up money and do it right

you bought a $30,000 car, don't half *** it

Some people don't want their cars to be that low. Getting springs is about as cheap as you can go to lower the car (safely). The install isn't too bad, if you have the tools you can install it yourself, it took me about 5 hrs to install the springs on my buddy's car.
