Which pads would have the least brake dust & noise for the Brembos (street use)?

My vote is for the Porterfield R4 pads. Not the R4S, mind you. They start out quite squeaky, but quiet down with time. They do make some noise when the wrong temperature and pedal pressure, but work just fine cold. If they do make noise, just push harder on the pedal and the squeak stops. They seem fairly easy on the rotors, but do dust up the wheels, though not quite as bad as the stock pads. They work very well. If you want brakes that stop and don't mind some dust and noise, these are it.

Ferodo has always made an excellent product, though I have no experience with the DS2500 compound. I'm still miffed they discontinued my Supra's front pads...

All I know is that I "get on it" daily, and just once and while the brembo pads would start to heat up just a bit and need more pedal to do the job, and I figure if that's happening at that point, "what could happen" if I were going a bit more.

On Big Willow the Brembo pads worked "good" because you are doing more straights, but on ButtonWillow / Streets you could tell they were fading, and with the Pagids in place, I don't think I noticed fading, and on Streets, it was considerably less.

But until they got to "temp" they could be realy noisy, and you didn't want to "count" on them during the warmup time in morning... Or just starting out into traffic after a long cool down.

Brian recommended these to solve the general range of problems...

I'll let you all know.

Street use? I would highly recommend Project U NS pads or the Endless Vita Nuova pads as they're tested and proven to be excellent pads for street and some occasional aggressive driving.

I have a 2003 Enthusiast, and I don't believe I have brembo brakes
Will Project Mu Bforce Pads work on stock calipers/discs - Im so sick of the squeaking and dust issues of the stock pads.

+1 Project Mu B-Force. I have run these for about a month and one autocross event, and I can say the dust is less than stock (not by a huge margin, but enough to make a difference), and they are a great street pad. They bite just fine in the cold (FL cold, so take that one with a grain of salt), and were great at the autoX.

Sorry it's been a while (again) been too busy....

The Endless SSS pads Rock....

The work great at startup, even better with only some temp, no squeaking/squeally at any time (so far) and I've been on them a few times already pretty seriously, and they did more than I expected.

They worked as well as the pagids @ temp.... and a lot better before temp, and with essentially no noise...

I haven't been on them for enough time to test their fading point....

More when I get a chance

The price sounds great... The Endless SSS were considerably more than that and I am hoping there is reason for it, so far I can't complain.

There are different Pads from Project Mu, so I'm sure it all depends on what those pads were.

I was considering pads from them as well, before I was steered towards the Endless...

I've got the Axxis Ultimates, and while they work great, they dust like crazy. If dust a big issue for you, then I'd rule these out.

+1... for now

I have to say that I am quite pleased with the performance of these pads. I forgot the brand name, but I bought them from O'Rielly auto parts. They may be webber or ferrodo or something like that. I paid around $45 for the front.

No more squealing in reverse, no more being thrown through the windshield when I rest my foot on the pedal while traveling 5mph. NO MORE DUST!!!! I swear I have not cleaned my wheels in over a week and all you can see on them is the yellow pollen dust that has collected.

Oh yeah, and they stop my car really fast, too.

Sorry, been ultra busy again....

So far so good with the brakes, they are performing as I described earlier.

Not much "warm up time" and they stop great, and LOW dust, not anywhere near what I was getting with the Brembos....
