Default Need some advice on Brakes..

Hey I have a 03 G35 with Brembo's.. It is time to change pads and rotors. What is everyone here replacing with, and where did you get?

I don't need top of the line stuff as im not a track person. Just a good replacement of the OEM stuff..

Thanx

stoptech stage II has been tried-and-true, you can search it up and you can for yourself.

personally, i've changed the rotors to cryogenic powerslots and hawk hp+ pads. but hp+s are not recommended for "normal" drivers.... they dust like crazy and are noisy. i do really like my rotors. extremely durable on track and they look good (if you stare at them lol)

This is the kit you are talking about

http://www.gmpperformance.com/index....ail&PID=159516

This would be a DIY. How is changing the brake lines from rubber to steel, and replacing the fluid? Does it make a real diffrence?

Or should I just get the rotors and some Hawk HP+ pads...

honestly, i couldnt feel a difference btw. factory setup vs. the SS lines. but i did them because my non-brembo z needs all the help it needs. i also changed to dot 4 synthetic (elf frelub 650).

if you are rollin on bling 19s and dont want noisy/dusty pads.. DO NOT get the HP+s. HP+ pads are one of those trackable-street pads and they work great when it's hot as hell.

HPS would be more streetable and almost no dusting.

i highly recommend powerslots based on my personal experience/usage.

oh and you can find that stage ii kit a lot cheaper elsewhere.... like performance nissan, etc.

I have the perfect setup for you. We have Project Mu 2 piece front rotors and rear 1 piece rotors along with Project Mu B Force brake pads, it would be a perfect combo. Here are the links, there are plenty of upgrades you can do on the existing factory BREMBO system, I have dont i myself and can answer any questions you have, just shoot me a PM or give me a call. In the mean time, check out the links below to the products I recommended. Dont forget to click "MORE INFO"!

I agree with the Projuct Mu B-force pads. But not with any rotor upgrade that has slot's or is drilled. He doesn't need anything like that and it will only accelerate pad wear in his case. 350z Motoring dot com has a pair of good pad, rotor and line change out how 2's.
