Anyone know why a manual tire pressure gauge says my tires have 35 psi but the dash gauge reads 32 psi? I'm running Avon all season tires in the stock size. I believe the difference started when I changed tires. Even though they say on the sidewall that they are the same size, they're actually an inch wider. By the way, these Avons are fantastic tires eliminating "freeway hop" and giving better traction than the stock Bridgestones. And Nisson paid for them (recall)!
Thanks!

How do you know your gauge is accurate?
The TPMS sensors are supposed to be accurate to ±1psi. I've tried several cheap pencil and dial gauges and they all varied widely in the pressure they read. I finally bought a Quick-car racing gauge and since I started using it, my TPS readout almost exactly matches what the gauge reads.
