I can't decide because of the angle of the megan pictures, but this Rotora picture from Vivid Racing does look the same when you look at the red caliper that is on an angle.

and another (thanks ninja-Z!)

Now, it very well may be that the Megan picture on their site is not the Z33 kit - but you can clearly tell from the pictures that if it is, the caliper is not the same

gringott - look at the Megan and Rotora pics more carefully - specially, the exterior bolts on each - does not look the same to me. Then look at the bridge on the caliper - again, totally different. Then look at the bracket - again, totally different. Come to think of it, I don't see a cross over tube, or even a bleed screw - so who the heck knows what they are using.

Now, like I said, maybe it's not the Z kit they show on the site - only Megan can answer that

looks pretty much the same to me. Unless you can get exact angles there is no way to truly compare from the pictures.

I highly highly doubt they are the same brakes. If anything megan copied the mold for the casing and then made some changes slightly to fit components they could get readily. In all reality a brake kit is a brake kit, they are all going to look similar, its how well they work that seperates the brembos from the megans...

Enough talking already someone buy these and do a 150-0mph stop test for us all, please take vid as well!!

Disclaimer: I don't own anything Megan and never have.

It does look like a single piece, that is the main difference I see when I study the pictures. Or they used bondo to fill the bolt holes.

As Z1 said, we don't even know if that is the kit for the Z, although I don't think Megan sells a kit for any other car. They are similar from certain angles, but in no way exact.

I personally don't think Megan manufactures those BBKs, at most, they probably supply the specifications and have them made.

At the price they are asking, one of the Wilwood kits would be a much better choice IMHO.

Anyone who can't tell the difference in the Rotora vs Megan is smoking something. They are not even close.

With the reputation Megan is earning themselves, I wouldn't buy a shift **** from them, let alone brakes.

No matter though, I am sure lots of people who are not on this board will buy them, then they will come here and post subjects like "I just installed a Megan BBK and ..."
