The only issue with clearance I have is with the mid-chassis brace. I'm dropped pretty low and I can just make it over speed bumps with the mid chassis brace...No issues with the front and rear braces...Oh ya, The car handles on Rails.....

I finally got the GT spec bars installed and will post pics when I get my digital camera back from my friend.

Anyways just FYI for those with aftermarket oil pans. I am running the ARC oil pan that sits lower than stock and I was not able to fit the front lower tie brace. So I only installed the Ladder brace and the rear tie brace.

That's good to know. I am installing the three lower braces tomorrow (did not get the mid-chassis brace). I'm looking forward to the improved handling performance this weekend.

Hey Rick,

Can you post your impressions of the bars when you took it out for a spin. Did it stiffen up a lot? How is driveability?

Thanks

I saw a pic on here somewhere of the front brace installed under an APS (I think it was APS) oil pan. I don't know if modification to the outside of the pan or to the tie brace was needed, but that pic showed that it is possible....somehow. If you want to mount it, see what would need to be shaved.

I'm getting the front and rear tie braces next week. I'll post impressions after installation.

I guess it will be one of those things where it depends on the design of the oil pan. However based on just looking at it, I find it hard pressed to imagine an oil pan with a higher capacity or even a spacer pushing the OEM pan down since it was not even close in regards to fitting hehe. Do you have pics of the APS with this bar installed?

I'll look and see if I can find it.
I remember it was under a post either here or on motoring about a guy saying he was going crazy on his suspension and installing everything he could. He then posted pics of all the bars installed and I specifically noted the aftermarket oil pan above the front brace because I remember someone else saying they couldn't install their front bar.

OK I found one.
I found this in a different thread than I was thinking though and am not sure if it's the same pic as before. Mostly because that sure isn't the APS oil pan in this one as it doesn't look finned.

It's not the stock one though either, so what oil pan is this?

^ I think it says GReddy on it. You can see the logo just over the GT bar.

I thought that may be it, but wasn't 100% sure.

Is the Greddy same capacity as stock?
If so, that would explain why it fits.

Yup, Greddy is stock capacity which is why it clears the GT Spec bar.

yeah that's a greddy pan, APS is just too big for the bar

solid motor mounts pretty much do what this bar does though, except the brace point becomes where the mounts are, made a huge huge difference on my car
