GF 210 Vs. Tein S Tech
I just want to know what spring has the stiiffer spring rate, what spring is better for handling? I got the STechs now and they are pretty stiff, but the lowness of the rear isn't that great. The Tenable's have a better look (Stance) but im not going to change for a less stiff spring, anyone have the spring rate, which is stiffer?
hah you said stiffer.....
i have gf210s and they look good but i feel that they are too soft....ive never driven a Z with stechs...but im currently looking for a stiffer spring for track use without going full coilover

Yeah, I dont really want to get Struts quite yet, and I thinkg Eibach's sit too low in the rear and not low enough in the front. Hum.. I know my STechs are stiff which is why I love them, but the rear isnt low enough, I may trim the bump stop a little.
I thought the Tanabes were more stiff than the tein s techs...i posted about this too:

Way too much progressive rate spread and not enough peak rate to keep you off the front bump stops.
You'd be much better off with Tom Motorsport setup, even if they do exceed Tokico's peak rate cap by 50lbs.

Spring rates in LBS 336/375 (only peak rates are published, softer initial progressive rates unknown)
S-tech's are progressive in the front, but with only 1 maybe two coil's that will bind, rear springs are linear.
Hotchkis are also slightly progressive from the look of it, but also very slightly. It's worked out really well (both tein and Hotchkis). I have not used the Tanabe's extensively
