Default tire feathering/alignment/sway bars

Hey guys/gals. I was wondering if someone could give me some good advice. I have an 03' Z and have the tire feathering issue. The car had the recall(diff. designed tires and alignment) done 12K miles ago. The car has now shown signs of feathering AGAIN and has the loud tire roar AGAIN. About a thousand miles ago I replaced the stock sways with Stillen. I am about to bring the car in tomorrow for rotation of the front tires and alignment. Should I remove the Stillen sways before bringing the car into the dealers so that they don't blame the prob. on the new sway bars? Also, the sways don't affect the alignment right?

I'd guess at this point, the TSB on your car no longer applies so you won't really be getting service under those conditions. You can leave the swaybars on - if you were trying to get free service based on the TSB, you have to have everything "factory".

My 04 had the feathering and I brought it it and got the front tires swapped and re-aligned. A couple thousand miles later, the problem had reoccured and about that time, the TSB on the 04s was issued. I brought it in again but only after the machine at the dealership was re-calibrated. Nissan was then insisting that dealers submit proof of recent calibration with the claim on the feathering. They replaced the front tires and realigned the car - it was way out of alignment. That was to the same specs that the first alignment was done to but because the machine was not calibrated it did nothing to solve the problem initially.

I'd suggest bringing it to a good reputable shop before trusing the dealership again.
