Default Steering Responce

Ever scene i got my springs installed my car has been a lil weird compared to what it used to be. When I first had my car the steering response was sharp, meaning whenever I touched the steering wheels the car moved. But now it’s not as dramatic. I was wondering if there is anything i can do to fix this issue? I read somewhere that when installing the test pipes i could have screwed with something that controlled the steering wheel (my steering wheel is a lil crocket and points to the right when i drive straight). Anyone know what i can do?

First thing I would do is use spellcheck, then I'd get an alignment.

haha. I had to hurry and type before my boss came, so i totally disregarded the spelling..and alignment did not help at all.

Maybe it turned quicker and easier before, because the car had more body roll, wich was caused by the added original ride height and the vehicles natural weight?

Pull the progressive GF210's off the car (had to search a ton of your past posts to find out what springs your on). They are progressive, what your feeling is the car having to compress past the softer initial spring rates (initial roll) before it get's to the higher final rates, which aren't that much different then oem in the end any how. Simple solution would be to purchase linear Tokico D-spec springs. They have about the same drop height, no progressive compromise on performance and higher front spring rates.

Tanabe GF210 Series 350Z progressive springs 1”/1.2”
Spring rates in LBS 336/375 (only peak rates are published, softer initial progressive rates unknown)
Stiffer then oem springs by F+7% R+10% (vs oem 03/04)

Tokico D-spec springs
350Z - DSK512 - 375f/375r - Linear Springs 1"/1"
Stiffer then oem springs by F+20% R+10% (vs oem 03/04)

Thanks for the info. Sorry I forgot to mention my set-up. Unfortunately I am going to be switching to coilovers soon so I guess this is a problem I have to deal with.
