Default Hotchkis and spring compressor reinstall

Couldn't find instructions on there website for ths Z. Not that I really need them. But I thought I read some where on this site that you don't need the spring compressor to put the Hotchkis spring back on the strut. Is this true. Enlighten me. Just going by what I read on another post.

That's good to know. But are you talking about not needing them at all or just for the reinstall? Your wording kind of threw me off.
