Default springs settling in

this might be a dumb questions but i was wondering since im goin to be storing my Z for the winter...if installed new springs, will they settle sitting in the garage or do springs settle by driving it around? Thanks!

I was thinking about this because by the time spring comes I will be getting me a new set of wheels!!

They need the weight of the car on them. So if you store your car off the ground, they won't start settling until you drive the car again.
