How's it goin everyone?
I just picked up some used hotchkis springs for the Z and I'm going in for an install tomororw morning.
First question is... I read in one post that a "thin rubber gourmet" should be taken off the front stock spring and placed on the hotchkis spring? Is this true and if so, should I let my install guy know?
Second question is... the springs look great but on 2 of the springs it reads:
"HOTCHKIS 19830252", but on another set I've seen 19930252. So,, I justJust wanted to make sure I had the right set for my 03 Z.
Other than that are there any other things I should let my guy know? I just want to make sure everything runs smoothly. And yes, I searched for about 45 minutes before I posted. Thanks for any help.

DISREGARD the 2nd question.... I didn't notice that the other pair say 19930252, so I'm guessing these differentiate the front and rear sets. Ne other help is still appreciated!

When I did mine I did put it on to avoid metal to metal contact. Then heard later some people who didn't do it had noise problems due to this. Don't know if that was there problems but just go ahead and do it. Just be slightly careful for it is glued on, so you don't rip it.
