Default 2006 Hotchkis Springs

Wanted to let you all know that there may be and issue with installing Hotchkis springs on the '06.

I received my ordered set of springs in two boxes directly from Hotchkis yesterday and noticed that one box read "front" and the other was blank. I called Hotchkis to inquire about the missing label and they recommended that I send in both boxes for a "fresh" set. They claimed they would feel more comfortable doing this because there have been some issues where the springs only lowered the '06 rear 1/4" instead of the claimed 3/4".

Has anyone else experienced this situation before?

Yes, he posted about it in the brakes and suspension section of the forum.

edited to add: his was not an '06, and he was told they had a bad batch of rears, makes me wonder what's up here. https://my350z.com/forum/brakes-and-suspension/242647-why-is-the-rear-not-lower-w-hotchkis-springs.html

Yea send them back, i'm sure they will give u a new set. I wonder how such a big company would have issues with sending out bad springs.

Bumping just to see if anyone has any further feedback on this from Hotchkis. I was real close to ordering the TVS kit, but I'm also considering coilovers and sways only. The uncertainty over this is making it pretty easy to go the more expensive route. I have no doubt that Hotchkis would stand behind the product, but I also have no desire to sort out the issue on my own, and would be extremely pissed if I went as far as an install before finding out I had a bad set.

According to Hotchkis, the revised springs are on their way back...I'll let you know how the install goes.

Does this also mean that they are revised to compensate for the change in spring rate from the earlier 03-04 models?
