Default Question about spring/dampener install?

I just purchaced tokiko springs and dampeners. I wanted to know if the install can be done by a regular tire and alignment/suspension shop instead of a performance shop. I want to know if it is any different than an OEM style install? Basically, could a regular shop do it.

The shop is very good and professional and they even have a laser guided alignment tool in the shop so I thought it'd be a good idea to get it done at the same place. They also charge significantly less than race shops. I had my wheels mounted and balanced there and they were very careful not to scratch anything too!

You should at least do the rears yourself. It's very, very easy and will save you a little bit of labor since they'll charge you for only the front install.

Any shop that has a spring compressor should be able to do this. Some people have done the install without a spring compressor.

Im too lazy, its too cold. The 50 bucks ill save isnt worth it to me. Besides, you pay the premium for a warranty on the labor. Otherwise, I'd do everything myself. I have the tools for it.

But thanks, as long as I know any shop can do it, then Ill go for it.
