I need some advice guys. Lately, I've being noticing that the suspension on my car is performing terrible. My car rear and front end suspension feels to loose also the car feels bouncing sideways all over the place. I had an accident recently that involve me, running over a dead animal that was laying on the street and it caused a little over 2K dollars in damage. I was going a little too fast maybe between 40-50 mph. I'm wondering if something underneath the car that belongs to the suspension may got hit and bend by the impact, cause before the accident everything was okay. I'm running hotchkis suspension and I know that it makes your car more responsive but not the way it feels now. I had this suspension for quite sometime now and I recognize the feel.

 

Go have it checked out by a competent mechanic. Seriously, your vague description of the problem and the fact that you had been an accident could mean thousands of things, and we would just be guessing blindly at what the problem is

Take it to an alignment shop. They can tell you if your front toe (due to hitting something big) are off or you have damaged parts.
