Default Screwed up coilover install?

My installer installed the HKS Hipermax RS but didn't follow the instructions. He did not bend the three tabs on the spring perch so that it does not come in contact with inner surface of the Ride Height Adjustment collar. I suspect that that's causing all the popping knocking groaning noise coming from the rear.

Here's my questions.
1) Could the tabs be the source of the problems?

2) What damage could the tabs do to my coilovers?

Has anyone had this problem before?

All it takes is you removing your rear wheels to see what's going on there. Sounds like it could definitely be a prob. if not corrected.

Where did you bring the car to? If its somewhere other than Zcargarage, I would be very weary. Bring the car back to the shop where you had the coilover installed, or just take it down to Zcar. They will take care of you.

It was done at 2visions but the shop is closed. I'm going down to Zcar on the 7th. I guess I'll have them take a look at it. I hope nothings screwed up.
