Hi,
Does anyone have a set of these?
http://www.stillen.com/product.asp?id=EIBCOILOVER0&c=SU
I've searched the forums and haven't found a review of these. They seem reasonably priced and seem to be high-quality.
If anyone has these on their car, please let me know what you think of the handling, quality, drop, and comfort.
Thanks,
Dan

He's a quote from one of Eibach's techs, it's what I was told when I called Eibach when the coilover first came out. "For the 350Z our Pro-Steet-S coilovers are bought from Kw Suspension. We buy their Variant 1 coilover and simply change the color of the springs from yellow to our traditional red, other then the change in color of the springs we change nothing. Our engineers felt the product was perfect as is."
I've never seen any Kw coilover owner ever have anything bad to say, all the owner comments I've read have been good, though I've never seen a variant 1 owner, only variant 3's. The only thing that I don't care for is that their use progressive springs, though I'll forgive the front because it doesn't have a very wide rate spread, but the rear springs do have a pretty wide spread. At $995 they would be simular to Basics and Tanabe Sustec Pro S-OC Type II
KW coilovers Variant's 1,2&3
twintube construction,
V1=non adjustable dampning,
V2=adjustable damping,
V3=separate adjustability for compression damping AND rebound damping
Spring rates Front 485lbs to 525Lbs Rear: 240Lbs to 548Lbs (progressive springs)
Tein Basic (twin tube construction, non adjustable dampners )
Spring rates 504/504
Sustec Pro S-OC Type II (twin tube construction, non adjustable dampners)
Spring rates 560/448

No I didn't. I haven't actually bought anything yet but i'm leaning towards the Bilstein pss9 setup. i know tire rack carries those now for 1500. What setup are you looking for?

i just wanted to lower the car bout .5-.8. and stop the bouncing, so something a little stiffer. this is a daily driver not track so i dont need anything super outrageous.
so im looking for the same thing as you, ride quality, comfort and a slight drop and stop the bouncing.
any suggestions?
