mono flex
No, you cannot convert Tein Flex to a Monoflex setup. The reason is simple, Tein named the coilovers after the monotube damper that the Monoflex uses. The regular Flex setup does not use a monotube damper.
I didn't know that the Monoflex were true coilover in the rear

I believe the setup in the picture above is from a set that I saw on Ebay that someone from Japan put together out of some tuner shop over their. Price was somewhat attractive, but in the end their payment terms and question's about what they may have done in the conversion process, let alone concern's about that much overall spring stiffness on real North American roads made them just a curiosity to me.

A mono flex looks just like a regular flex...seperate spring in the rear

Dear Noob,
Please listen. No one knows what suspension that is! It is NOT monoflex. Monoflex is separated spring/shock in the rear. No can help you because that is not a mass produced suspension. No one knows what spring rates or has ever seen it. YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN.
Regards,
Tony

This link is the installation guide for the 350Z MonoFlex coilovers... http://www.tein.com/ti/inst/gfp24u.pdf
The last page shows a diagram of what the rear setup looks like. It appears from this manual, what you *might* have is the monoflex setup with the rears converted to be true coilover. The front setup looks exactly like the diagram shows. Who knows what parts or spring-rate they used for the rear to do this conversion though...
