brake dust problem

Default brake dust problem

has anyone covered this problem. just replaced front pads and turned
rotors but have bad brake dust problem on front left. any help will
be thankful.

What kind of pads did you replace the originals with?

I did get rid of the brake dust. Installed Hawk Ceramic pads. They do squeel (although that may have been the installation at the root cause) but there is no brake dust.

I would do the same thing again.

Yeah, my ceramics squeal too, pisses me off. I talked to the guy that installed them and he said that it was the brake dust that builds up. Sometimes they squeak, sometimes they don't. What you can do is go about 40-50mph and then slam on your brakes and it'll push the dust right out.

WARNING: lol don't do this on a busy street with someone behind you.
