Default Steering Response w/ Springs

Just had a set of Hotchkis springs installed about a month and a half ago and it took two alignments to get back into spec - now the steering wheel seems to be slightly off center (to the left). I know that this is typically a quick fix but I have a question before I go back into my alignment shop, it seems that it there is a bit more play in my steering wheel and it is slightly easier to turn to the left than to the right - any ideas? Thanks.
