If Brembo => aftermarket are much cheaper.

All depends on how the car is driven! My Maxima has the OEM brakes, over 5 years of driving and 34K miles!

I have had the brake pads since December 05. I've put about 27k on them.

27k seems normal for that car. They don't last very long as a rule.

About 50$ for a set of fronts.

I replaced the OEM front pads and rotors at 48,000 miles.

Owners who are not familiar with Nissan Performance cars usually miss the correlation between best in CLASS stopping and fast wear from pads and rotors.

Redesigning brakes to increase longevity usually adds NOISE and decreases street stopping distances especially in cold weather or the first
warm up stop.

The fore aft balance is finely set with individual pad friction coefficients to squeeze every foot out of the rears........changing this balance will shift wear rates fore and aft.

My front Brembos lasted about 25k miles under regular heavy abuse. Stop-and-go in So Cal is like 70mph-to-0mph constantly. The brakes are working well though.

Q45tech, what are we supposed to do with that?
