Default New Brakes / Rotors - Any ideas???

Its time to do my brakes. To start off have a 03 Touring Edition. No Brembos.

I was told that I need all 4 new pads & rotors. I am still gonna get a second opinion about that.

IF I DO NEED IT ALL

Any recommendation on Pads and Rotors. Not looking to spend too much more then I need to....

THANKS

How much worse than as new oem braking..............is desired? How much noise will you tolerate?
Since most of Florida rarely gets below 32F cold braking will be less of a problem so after market pads can work somewhat.

Rotora/Stoptech Rotors and Hawk Pads or Axxis Ulitmates...

Look in the vendor section of the marketplace, I think someone was still running a deal on rotor/pad packages...

Have your rotors' thickness checked to see if they really need replacing.

OEM pads are pretty cheap.

Project Mu NS pads with Powerslot rotors. Good combo there. less dust, better bite, and cadmium plated/rust free rotors

For your 03 with "regular" brake:

Front nominal is 24mm Minimum is 22mm
Rear nominal is 16mm Minimum is 14mm

A full set of rotors for less than one replacement StopTech aerorotor ? (ie half of a 2 pieces rotors) ?

Altought price is never a firm indicator of quality, I seriously doubt these would perform well...

I just ordered some slotted rotors from rotorpros and should be getting them in the next few days. I'll be running them with HPS pads, I got all 4 slotted for $190 shipped. Before anyone says "you get what you pay for" they source their blanks from centricparts and machine them just like stoptech does for their sportstop rotors, but for $200 less.

Thanks for all your help. I'm down to the EBC Red Pads, Project Mu B-Force, Hawk HPS

Hopefully my rotors can be cut they seem to be good. But theyve never been changed in 55K miles

EBC red on a street car that never sees the track? I wouldn't....certainly not on stock rotors

I'd look to the NISMO pads...awesome units for the money
