http://www.tein.com/nissan.html

As their web site show's. Yes you can setup to oem ride height.

Recommended (they've told me that they corner weigh at the recommended settings) 1"/.8" drop

Min Drop and max spring preload setting
.0"/+.1"

Max Drop and min preload setting
2.4"/1.1"

Reading between the lines, that means you are dailing in a lot of spring preload to get to oem height, in the front that is. Ideal spring preload is the minimum amount required to keep the spring seated when the suspension is unladen.

That he can set them up to oem ride height, but Tein recommends a lower setting.

What too much spring preload "might" cause. "Might", as in maybe, maybe or maybe not. It's that "maybe" part and what might happen that makes minimum spring preload settings the ideal setting.

Harsh over small bumps (but spring never binds itself)

Wheel chatter over small bumps during braking

Not using full travel, feels harsh, poor corning and braking traction (caused because the spring itself runs out of travel or binds, I'd be shocked if that's possible with the basic setup however)
