The feathering is an issue [to varying degrees] on all vehicles [from every manufacturer on Earth] with excessive camber and caster where owners do not frequently rotate directional tires.

So very very common that they make expensive machines just to measure and profile it:

Wear Pattern Name: Heel / Toe Wear
Characteristics: Comparatively rapid wear on the trailing edge of each tread block compared to the leading edge. Tread shoulders usually the worst affected.

Possible Causes: 1. A common wear pattern on aggressive block-type tread patterns that are used extensively on sealed roads. Caused by block flex. 2. Pressure errors. 3. Wheel-alignment errors. 4. Consistent, severe cornering.

Remedy / Action: Severity often decreases as tyres wear. 1. Reversing the direction of rotation will flatten un-even wear. 2. Replace tyre if tread depth is less than 1.6mm on any part of the tread. 3. Reduce turn-in speed when cornering.
