I have a set of Hotchkis swaybars, and with the stock endlinks I was getting very noticeable clunking when driving slowly over uneven pavement. My thought was that the stock endlinks were wearing out due to the significantly increased stiffness of the aftermarket swaybars, so I ordered a set of PowerGrid adjustable endlinks.
The first set they sent me looked great, but I noticed that the front endlinks were quite a bit longer than stock, even when adjusted down to their minimum length. After installing them, I also noticed that the tip of the front swaybar was just slightly contacting the brake line on the drivers side. The increased length of the front links causes the swaybar ends to angle upwards rather than being level like normal, and thus the brake line contact problem. Upon driving with them, I was also getting *signficant* clunking from the front, far worse than previously with the stock endlinks. It was a different kind of clunking, though, as if something heavy was contacting something else. My only guess was the the increase angle on the swaybars must've been causing one of the miscellaneous bends in the Hotchkis bar to contact some other part of the suspension, frame, etc.
So, I contacted PowerGrid and ended up talking with Chip. He was very helpful, and after discussing my findings with him, he sent me a different pair of front endlinks that were stock length as opposed to the longer ones I originally received. These new, shorter front endlinks did the trick! Along with the their rear endlinks, all my swaybar clunking on uneven pavement is gone. Been driving on these new endlinks for over a month now, and everything is still good.
Anyway, I just wanted to post here to let everyone know that the Powergrid endlinks (with the shorter front links) have worked great for me so far, and to also give two thumbs up to Chip for the great customer support.
